This recently completed book for young readers blends my love of fish and fishing into a tale of an adventurous bream.

 

All sorts of fish, prawns, crabs and oysters thrive in the river systems that flow into Port Stephens and eventually out into the open ocean between the mighty headlands, Yacaaba and Tomaree. ​“Banjo” tells the experiences of an inquisitive and adventurous bream. I hope that those who read the book may be encouraged to become part of the great recreational experience that we call, fishing.
